I’m just a Mom of 7 kiddos who was tired of all the chaos and indifference of public schools. Dedicated to the wellbeing and educational needs of my kids, I got tired of seeing them come home complaining about the bullies and the teachers who wouldn’t take the time to help them. I have 2 kiddos who are spectrum kids. I struggled for years to have the schools help me meet their needs with meeting after meeting. IEPs were instituted and still six years later my 5th grade twins still hated school and was terribly behind. Every teacher and every IEP had failed them. One of my 5th graders was still reading on a 2nd grade level with very little progress to show for his 6 years of school. He was being pushed forward to the next grade year after year, falling further and further behind. So I knew something had to change. I pulled him out of public school first using a main stream homeschool system and I began to see growth and progress. After 2 years he opted to return to public school only to discover that nothing in that system had changed. I pulled all three of my middle schoolers out of the system and registered with a home school association in South Carolina and began teaching them myself. The change has been life changing and wonderful. their educational growth has astounded even me.

We believe in keeping things simple, smart, and human. Every project starts with listening and ends with something we're proud to share. We use a variety of resources to create our syllabus. Videos, online, printed work, field trips and hands on studies, you name it, we use it. But most of all we apply learning to everyday life and situations out side of our classroom setting. We keep it fun and interactive with lots of hands on material. We work together as a team. The more they learn, the more I learn.
